List of all bilateral projects supported or been supported by the SECO

In selected countries, where Switzerland implements programmes of trade-related technical cooperation, targeted standard-related projects are being developed and implemented. Such projects should take account of the following principles:

• Focus on economic sectors with significant export and poverty reduction potentials;
• Transfer of technical knowledge at the local level in order to reduce the dependency on foreign conformity assessment providers;
• Promotion of regional cooperation;
• Support improvement of the governance management of national standardization bodies.
